Electronic Arts presentará este viernes un nuevo servicio de descargas llamado Origin sustituto de la EA Store tal como podemos leer en su web www.origin.com. Según un articulo en Wall Street Journal, este servicio será como una tienda pero tendrá una parte de social y solo estará disponible en PC. Esto también se acerca más a Steam y a las redes sociales como una plataforma de notificaciones que dejarán a los gamers una variedad de difusión de mensajes a distintos dispositivos, a amigos en línea, con notificaciones cuando tus amigos consigan logros o otros objetivos en el juego. Un ejemplo «hipotético» de la integración de esta plataforma sería Battlefield 3, con Eelectronic Arts especulándose una versión móvil del juego para acumular puntos de experiencia que contará para la edición de PC. Se espera más noticias sobre este servicio hoy mismo y a partir de las 18:00 la apertura del servicio.
